In order to encourage all County residents to participate in recycling, Camrose County provides a "free" BLUE BOX to each household in the County.
BLUE BOXES can be picked up from at the County Seed Cleaning Plant at 4728-41 Street, Camrose OR the Camrose County Administration Office at 3755-43 Avenue, Camrose, during regular office hours.
Effective April 22, 2013, the Rural Recycling Program will move to a full-time recycling program available at all County waste disposal sites, including the Kingman, Kelsey and Meeting Creek Transfer Sites and the West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill. Recycling will still continue to be available at the Centra Cam facility in Camrose as well.

These items CANNOT be recycled locally:
- Aerosol containers
- Motor oil containers
- Foil containers
- Hazardous waste
- Styrofoam, including egg containers
- Containers with food products inside
