The Forever Green project started with Walter McNary’s vision to revitalize natural tree stands throughout Camrose County that are dying from natural causes. During Walter’s presentation his passion transferred to the Camrose County Agricultural Service Board and the seeds were planted. The program is now an annual project of the Agricultural Service Board.

The free seedlings are offered by Camrose County to be planted only in native tree stands within Camrose County.  If you would like to be included, please submit the application form to Ag. Services. Applicants generally receive approx. 20 trees. 

The deadline for 2026 is April 24th for mid-May delivery. Trees will be picked up from our Agricultural Services building at 4238 - 37 Street Camrose, AB T4V 5B2.
