Camrose County Agriculture Services is available to assist livestock producers as needed.

Acreage and Hamlet owners who wish to keep livestock or other animals will need to refer to the Camrose County Land Use Bylaw to ensure that they comply with the number of animals allowed for their property (See Schedule A of Bylaw 1373).

Camrose County has a mobile Cattle Scale to assist livestock producers with the weighing of cattle on their farms. The scale is available on a first come first serve basis and advance appointments will be accepted. The user of the scale will be charged the full cost incurred by Agricultural Services for the labour of one worker and mileage for the truck to pull the scale. 4-H clubs are exempt from fees.
