Noxious and Prohibited Noxious Weeds

Noxious and Prohibited Noxious Weeds spread rapidly and can have a significant impact on the native plant life of Alberta. The Alberta Weed Control Act designates weeds as Noxious or Prohibited Noxious and requires landowners to either control or destroy these weeds.
