Campaign Period: The Campaign period for the 2029 Municipal Election is January 1, 2026 until December 31, 2029.

Nomination Period: The nomination period for the 2029 Municipal Election runs from January 1, 2029 to September 17, 2029.

Election Day: The next Municipal Election is scheduled for October 15, 2029

Before submitting your Notice of Intent or Nomination Papers, please confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements.

To be nominated as a candidate, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age on Nomination Day (September 17, 2029).
• Be a Canadian citizen.
• Have been a resident of Camrose County for the six consecutive months immediately before Nomination Day.
• Be a resident of Camrose County on Election Day (October 15, 2029).
• Not be otherwise ineligible or disqualified under sections 22, 23, and 23.1 of the Local Authorities Election Act.
