Dust Abatement

Camrose County has 2600 km of roads, most of which are gravel.  Acreages and farm homes along these gravel roads can experience dust in the dry months of summer.

As per Policy 17.23 it is the responsibility of the private individual to organize, pay for and oversee the completion of any dust abatement applications.

Camrose County does not offer dust abatement services, but there are a number of companies that provide dust control services in the County. If you are interested in dust control services, call and make arrangements with one of the local companies listed below.

Please Note:  The County reserves the right to maintain all dust abatement sections as required.  This includes blading of sections of dust abatement with potholing, washboard, rutting or other issues of concern.  Areas will be bladed at least once per year in order to maintain the crown of the road - regardless of whether dust control is present.
