Alberta Beekeeper Education and Enhancement (BEE) workshops
Interested in beekeeping? Already have honey bee colonies and want to learn more about how to care for them? This workshop from The Alberta Beekeeper Education and Enhancement (B.E.E.) program will cover the basics of keeping healthy hives.
Attendees will learn about honey bee biology, nutrition, seasonal management, outdoor wintering, diseases, and more. The cost to attend this workshop is $15 – this is the introductory pilot project price, once project launches – prices for these workshops will go up!
Each session runs from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm and then will be followed by a 30 minute Q&A period with the workshop facilitator. Each workshop part is recorded and available for post-session viewing if registrants were unable to attend one of the live virtual sessions. A certificate of completion will be provided upon viewing/attending both workshop parts and successful completion of the workshop test.
