Detention Brewing Co. – Octoberfest
Detention Brewing Co. – will be open as usual to the public.
We will have Uncle Leo’s Perogy and Sausage with us that day serving up some delicious eats from 4-7:30. Please note…if you are coming to eat, the Perogy and sausage is cash only.
Now for our Oktoberfest celebration!!!
We are planning a friendly competition with the traditional, as well as some non traditional Oktoberfest feats.
If you wish to participate in the competition, you can enter as an individual or as a team. As an individual, you will compete in all events. As a team, you can choose the team member to participate in the individual events.
We have 6 events planned….
- Stein holding contest
- Hammer and nail contest
- Stein racing
- Grain sack throwing (instead of keg throwing as we’d rather fill our kegs with beer than throw them around!)
- And two mystery events
So if you think you have what it takes to show some Oktoberfest skill, all you need to do is message us that you’d like to be entered, then bring a donation that day to the food bank for your entry fee! Start time for the games is 2ish.
