Dione Taylor

Dione Taylor is a Canadian “Prairie Blues” singer songwriter from Regina. Her music is a mixture of Roots, Blues, Jazz, Gospel and Americana.
For her newest albulm “Spirits in the Water”, Taylor got inspiration from a folklore legend of the Tanasi (or “Singing) River in Tennessee. Inside the waterway lives a woman who sings songs to protect those who hear her.
Taylor says “Legendary stories and family history travel through us, flow into the waters and down the bloodline”.
She was nominated for a Juno Awards for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year.
