Spend a marvelous day in the country. Give your children a chance for safe, creative play by going back in time at this historic site.
Admission for the day is by donation.
Fun for all ages. Tour the 1913 station and 1917 elevator with knowledgeable guides.
Take a ride on the rails on a velocipede, meet Fireman Garry and hear what his job on the railway was all about.
Take a horse-drawn wagon ride on the historic abandoned rail line and grasslands area.
Stop and walk the Labyrinth and learn the indigenous history of Meeting Creek.
Walk the linear park, bird watch, and discover the flora and fauna.
Purchase chili and homemade Sunny Boy bread, pie, and beverages at the Community Hall.
1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Fun Event for the Children. Join us for a free fun event for children and their parents, grand-parents or anyone young at heart, in and outside the community hall. The children will work with parents or other adult on a fun pioneer craft. Other fun activities include dancing the Virginia Reel and singing together, and sack races.
