NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – BYLAW 1587
Pursuant to Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, the Council of Camrose County gives notice that it has given First Reading to By-law No. 1587 to amend Land Use Bylaw No. 1541.
The purpose of this By-law is to redistrict Lot 17, Block 11, Plan 2854Z (Pt. NW-11-45-21-4) in New Norway from UC – Urban Commercial District to UR – Urban Residential District to fit with the surrounding properties, which are all zoned Urban Residential.
Anyone affected by this Amendment may make written submissions before 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
The Public Hearing for By-law No. 1587 will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in the County Council Chambers, 3755 – 43rd Avenue, Camrose, Alberta T4V 3S8. For individuals who wish to attend virtually, a link will be posted in the Council Agenda package. Written submissions will be heard first, oral submissions will be heard as time permits.
