Library Funding Information
Camrose County is a member of the Parkland Regional Library and has Council representation on the Board, as well as making an annual financial contribution based on the population of the County.
The Parkland Regional Library is a network of 50 public libraries serving over 200,000 residents of central Alberta by sharing of materials, resources and expertise. County residents may purchase a library card from their local library and use it at any of the 50 member libraries.
In addition to supporting the Parkland Regional Library, Camrose County makes an annual financial contribution to each of the five local libraries: Bashaw Municipal, David Knipe Memorial Library in Bawlf, Hay Lakes Municipal Library, Edberg Public Library and the Camrose Public Library.
