Rosalind is known for being a Small But Strong Community!

It is nestled north of the Battle River Valley, just 30 minutes from Camrose. The name Rosalind was first used in 1905 and is likely an amalgamation of the nearby school districts of Montrose and East Lynne.

The village has strong volunteer support in their inner agencies: Rosalind Agricultural Society, Rosalind and District Recreation Association, Rosalind Elks, Rosalind Fire Department, Rosalind 4-H Club, and Rosalind Drop-In. These groups are the backbone of the community and support local. They host events such as the Dinner Theatre, Steak Fry, Ag Day, Fireman's Breakfast & Truck Pull, Slowpitch Tournament, Community BBQ, Harvest Hootenanny, and Christmas Market, to name a few.

People love to rent beautiful village facilities for weddings, birthdays, reunions, music festivals, etc. Available are the Community Hall, Drop-In, Arena, and Booth. There is a campground, playground, ball diamonds, and pickleball courts, and everything is within walking distance.

Rosalind is fortunate to be home to Detention Brewing Co., a local family that bought the Rosalind School and opened a craft brewery and tap room; it is definitely worth the trip! Other attractions in the area are the scenic Battle River Valley, including historical Ferry Point Landing, a beautiful Ferry Point Greenhouse, and a Double Dam Golf Course and Campground that serves the outdoor leisure needs of Rosalind and the surrounding area.
