Paying your property tax

Tax notices are mailed in May of each year, and the balance is due on July 31 of that year. Monthly payment plans are available through the Tax Pre-Authorized Payment Plan, if you sign up before June 30.

Payment Methods

Add Camrose County as a Payee (do NOT choose "Camrose Taxes" as this is the City of Camrose, not Camrose County).
Account Number:
- Use your Roll Number (this can be found in the first column on your tax notice)
  - If you have one parcel, please use your Roll Number.
  - If you have multiple properties please follow these instructions:
    - If you are paying the total property tax from all properties please input your Account Number and pay the total amount.
    - If you are paying a portion of your property tax please make a separate payment for each Roll Number to ensure your payment goes to the correct property.
- Your bank may require 6 or 7 digits for the account number, if so, you may need to add zeros (0's) in front of the roll number to fill the field

Property Taxes may only be paid by Credit Card through the online Option Pay service which charges a fee for use. To see their fees please click the fee schedule link.

To pay you property tax please select “Tax” under type and then input your Roll Number.

Camrose County offers a Monthly Tax Pre-Authorized Payment Plan for paying your property taxes
The deadline for enrollment is June 30 of each year and to qualify your tax account cannot have any arrears. As the program begins in January and runs until December to pay the full amount of the years taxes, anyone joining the program after January 1, must "catch up" with the monthly payment(s) they have missed before beginning the payment plan. For example, if you sign up for the program in March, you will need to pay the January, February, and March amounts at the time you enroll.
This plan allows property owners to pay their property taxes in monthly installments from January to December each year
Payments are automatically withdrawn from your bank account on the 1st business day of each month
If you are interested in this plan please fill out the Pre-Authorized Tax Payment Plan Authorization Form and email, mail, or bring a copy to the County Office with a copy of a VOID cheque attached. Complete only one form per property.

Property Tax Receipt Options

Camrose County offers two ways to receive Property Tax Receipts
- Emailed Receipts: The County will provide upon each payment
- Mailed Receipts: Provided at the request of the property owner, and only when taxes are paid in full.
