Solid Waste (Garbage) Services

Camrose County provides solid waste (garbage) services in a variety of ways, such as curbside pickup (in some Hamlets), transfer sites in rural areas, and at the Camrose Landfill and West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill.

Hamlet curbside pickup:

  • Pelican Point Garbage Pickup is provided by E360 Environmental Services
  • New Norway Garbage Pickup is provided by County Enviro Pickup
  • Ferintosh Garbage Pickup is provided by County Enviro Pickup.

Rural Transfer Sites:  These sites accept household garbage, County residents must show proof of residency.

  • Kingman Transfer Site – Open Saturday (8:30 – 4:00), Monday (4:00 – 8:00), and Wendesday (4:00 – 8:00)
  • Kelsey Transfer Site – Open Saturday (9:30 – 5:00)
  • Meeting Creek Transfer Site – Open Wednesday (9:00 – 5:00)

Camrose Landfill

  • County residents can take household garbage to the City of Camrose Landfill for free, proof of residency is required, open Monday to Saturday 9:00 – 4:30
  • Other items can be taken to the landfill for a fee

West Dried Meat Lake Landfill

  • County residents can take household garbage to the West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill, proof of residency is required, open Monday to Friday 8:00 – 4:00 and Saturday 8:30 – 3:00.
