• Clean Black & White Agricultural plastic can be put in the recycle area for FREE! 
• To recycle agricultural plastic please:
  • Shake off as much organic material (spoilage, dirt, etc.) as possible
  • Roll the plastic up and tie it with twine
  • Bring to the West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill
• Unclean or contaminated plastic must be put in the Landfill pit as garbage for the regular fee.
• Excessively dirty agricultural plastic and garbage or debris dumped in the recycling area will be charged a clean-up fee.
• No netwrap, bale silage wrap or silage tarps are currently accepted for recycling.

• Cleaned and bagged plastic twine can be put in the recycle area for free
• To recycle plastic twine please
  • Remove as much debris as possible and do not include net wrap
  • Obtain Cleanfarms recycling bags and place twine in the bag
  • Poke small holes in the bottom to drain water
  • Secure bag tightly closed with twine or zip tie
  • Bring to the West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill
• Excessively dirty twine, especially if knotted, may be rejected and subject to a landfill charges

• Please keep batteries separate from other garbage. Lithium batteries cause fires when they are mixed in with household waste and other garbage.
• WDMLRL has a container for lithium batteries, car batteries & regular batteries.
• Please state you have batteries in your load and you will be directed to the proper area.

There are separate electronic recycling bins at WDML for items such as:

• Computers and servers
• Laptops, tablets and notebooks
• Printers, copiers, scanners and fax machines
• Home small appliances
• Audio/Video, Televisions, electronic toys, music devices
• Powered tools, lawn and garden equipment
• Visual display and all-in-one devices

All tires must be sorted and stacked in appropriate areas.
