Nature Conservation Centre Trail
The Nature Conservation Centre is a beautiful day-use area in the southeast corner of Camrose County. This is a great place to watch birds, fish, go for a walk, canoe, or even scuba dive. The picnic area has a gazebo, fire pits, playground, and washroom facilities. The trails are up to 40 min walk.

Meeting Creek Natural Linear Park Trails
Meeting Creek trail is an important piece of Canadian Northern history as well as an environment for plants birds and wildlife that is second to none on the prairies. All trails are open year-round. TRAIL LOCATIONS: Visit the map interpretative sign near the elevator for directions to the trails.Â

Access to the trails is on the east side of the village. The trails are on private land and are maintained by volunteers. The trails are suitable for ATV users, pedestrians or mountain bikers. Some areas have high grass and bumpy parts.

Happy Valley Trails
Happy Valley is a great destination for mountain biking or cross-country skiing enthusiasts. To access it, ride to the south end of Old Timer and go under the train trestle to access the Happy Valley trail system. Happy Valley trails are on privately owned land. The owner generously maintains the wide trail for anyone to visit.
Middle Battle River Trail
It is part of the Waskahegan Trail. The hike is a 10 km round trip along forest paths with views of the glorious Battle River Valley. Starting from Range Road 212C, on the east side of Hwy 21 and going to Fidler’s Monument (for Peter Fidler, one of the primary explorers/map makers of western Canada).Â
