Business Incentive Grant

The Business Incentive Grant is intended to make a positive contribution towards the cost of creating a business entity.
Purpose
The purpose of the Business Incentive Grant By-law is to encourage business development and permanent employment in Camrose County by providing a Business Incentive Grant to stabilize and provide support to the rural community
Application
Any entity who intends to establish a business development within Camrose County may submit an application for the Business Incentive Grant in writing under either the Tier 1 or Tier 2 classification to the County Administrator
Tier 1: Minimum of 1 Million in Business Development
The Tier 1 Business Incentive Grant shall equate up to a maximum of 2% of the Certified Written Appraisal paid over a five-year period, if approved by the County Administrator or designate.
Tier 2: Minimum of 100 Million in the Business Development
The Tier 2 Business Incentive Grant shall equate up to a maximum of 10% of the Certified Written Appraisal paid over a 20 year period, if approved by Council. County Council reserves the right to consider the percentage of the grant up to a maximum of 10% of the Certified Written Appraisal and the allocation percentages of payment over the 20-year period.
